First of all, thank you for popping by and learning a bit more about the crew behind CasaCullen. Read on, readers for some great info about the how's, why's, where's and when's of CasaCullen's birth. Not to worry, it has nothing to do with the movie Twilight and no...Edward is not the real name of the handsome Mr. CC Hubby!
Walt, Morgan and Zola Belle Cullen reside in gorgeous Austin, TX. After relocating from San Francisco in the summer of 2009, these three knew they were ready to lay down some roots and purchase their first home. Comparing bay area real estate prices to those in the Austin area truly sealed the deal. On October 23, 2009 all papers were signed and the Cullen clan officially scored themselves one gorgeous and drool-worthy pad. Coming in at around 2,700 square feet of space, this was a palace on Bay Area terms. Now...what to do with all that room!
Morgan
Morgan brings to the table a love of sharing, design and photography. As soon as the home was purchased, she and Walt got right to work on some aesthetic design changes. Having never stumbled upon or obsessed over any shelter blog/home decor blog, Morgan started filling her evenings gathering advice, wisdom, ideas and clipping pictures. A daunting and fun task, Morgan quickly realized she had quite the hunch and love for all things home decor. Pair that with a yearning from family/close friends mentioning they'd love to keep up with any remodeling/renovations/redesign that went down at CasaCullen...and tah dah...this blog was born! Morgan is also currently the creator/writer/editor of RunwayDaily and GentDaily.
Walt
CC Hubby, uh hum, I mean, Walt brings to the table a whole plethora of handyman precision and handsomeness. This man was born to be a homeowner as he's thoroughly enjoying the process of making this house into a home. Walt's degree is in Environmental Engineering from University of Central Florida but his concentration has been in the construction industry as a Project Manager for most of his adult life. Having recently come on board with Hilti, now he's seen all over the Austin area in his little red Hilti Euro-car...cruisin' from construction site to construction site.
Zola Belle
This tiny fur ball brings to the table a really impressive skill set. Her advance knowledge of mailman barking, cat-nap taking and non-stop ball fetching has earned her a spot on Team CasaCullen. She'd much rather sit quietly on the lap of her Momma (Morgan) while she's busy coordinating posts and write-ups than be in the garage with Daddy (Walt) while he's using a loud tool. Zola's focus and prior experience was in the areas of sitting, shaking, playing tug-of-war and chasing squirrels. Now a days, Zola is heavily involved in the design process around CasaCullen and even manages to match her wardrobe to the seasonal throw pillows.
