Ok, it's official...we're on board and there's no turning back. We devote thirty minutes of our lunchtime quiet to pinning. You all warned me, you emailed me, you mentioned it to me over and over again. But I didn't heed your addiction warnings. Now I'm in like flynn...hook, line and sinker. If you are already a Pinterest fan, find us HERE. And if you aren't...what are you waiting for?
So one of my fave things to pin are easy recipes. I'm such a sucker for amazing food photography so I'm going to highlight different 'boards' I've already started for us on Pinterest. I love easy sides and quick/healthy snacks so those are recipes I'm always wanted to flag for later. Also, you know we're suckers for a fabulous desserts so that is something I'm always on the look out for too. Check out some of our fave collected recipes below that we can't wait to try in the coming months.
And for those of you that are so lost to how Pinterest even works, we'll fill you in now. Here's what Pinterest does below and HERE's more info too!
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest allows you to organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. You can browse pinboards created by other people to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and share their favorite recipes.
I totally hope we have time to make these cute lil' nuggets with my niece Minnie. She'll be here to welcome the arrival of our lil' man in about four weeks! Isn't this an adorably fun recipe for your wee ones?
Get ready to be surprised...I've never made granola, ever. Yep, we buy it and I know it's one of the easiest snacks to make. I've promised myself that I'm purchasing no more granola until I give it a whirl, DIY style. So this might be our recipe of the week very soon!
Oatmeal, chocolate and peanut butter are all some of my fave foods. Combine them in this easy, no-bake treat and I'm ofifcially in hog-heaven. This is surely one we'll be trying this Holiday season!
Love, love, love me some laska! I used to work at an Asian restaurant when I lived in Australia and I would always order the Laska...delish! This recipe is only 5 ingredients so it's a great last-minute main for those crazy nights.
These would be such a great thing to always have in the fridge. When you really want to grab something sugary and sweet...this would be a welcome option for both of us, can't wait to try my hand at these lil' guys!
We love baked potatoes but seldom do we make them as our main. The addition of black beans means we can get our protein in without a ton of added calories. Plus, these are ingredients we usually always have on hand.
You know we're a sucker for an overnight dessert (my Mom's strata recipe HERE is quite the hit) so this should come as no surprise that we've pinned an easy and scrumptious looking recipe. Also, Walt is a huge fan of hash browns and this includes those as a main ingredient!
Ok, so this is a three ingredient recipe and surprisingly, one of them is actually candy corn. A great way to use up that candy corn and splurge on another sweet option!
