It's such a huge, huge treat when CC Hubby makes dinner for me. He's actually such a great help in the kitchen and always asks what he can do but it is quite rare that he prepares, from start to finish, an entire meal. He's a busy and hard working man so it's nothing I expect but it's something I rejoice in, when it does happen. Let me reiterate, he helps with dinner every night and I'm so very, very thankful for that!
Basically, he'd be happy to make anything I ask him to but I'm always the one that comes up with the menu and strategizes our shopping plan. So when he tells me to relax, that he's on complete dinner duty, it's almost like a dream come true. Recently, he's made us chicken parmesan twice (it's actually what we think we'll eat everyday in heaven, we both love it) and it's one of the best comfort meals. It's a super easy recipe and you can even add some yummy cheese for added taste. We don't eat much cheese so we opted not to add it. Read on to see a picture re-cap and be sure to try this super easy meal!
Kitchen staples, we always have eggs and breadcrumbs in our fridge.
The tenderized meat sauteing and getting crisp in the pan. It gives off this intoxicating and amazing aroma that just screams, 'You're about to have a scrumptious and delish home cooked meal!' Or wait, I also think everything tastes so much better when you don't make it yourself. Yep, that's the key!
I love his addition of pepper and italian seasoning in the egg batter...it actually makes a huge, tasty difference.
Spaghetti boiling.
He opted to use our HEB Tomato & Basil pasta sauce.
And he paired his meal with some frozen corn. Meals cooked by handsome hubby...doesn't get much better than that! I tip my hat and say in a public forum that this meal will always and forever make me smile. It's one of the first meals CC Hubby cooked me when we were just dating. Mmm, he totally had me at 'Chicken Parmesan!'
