Interior Inspiration: How to Use Bold Color in Your Home and Accent Pieces Under $50

How to Use Bold Color in Your Home - 1

We love the idea of using a bold color in the laundry room. It's a really fun way to 'try out' a shade you love and even take a chance on one you're not entirely sure of. Usually laundry rooms are small spaces so you won't even need an entire gallon, most of the time. We love this color and think it's a superb idea for a laundry room.

Maybe you don't want to be totally daring by painting your walls but you still love bright pops of color...these great dining room chairs and bright table are the perfect idea. For renters who need to leave the walls untouched, bright accent pieces can bring those added pops of color without upsetting your landlord.

Using a strong hue for window treatments is another great idea for adding bold color to your room palette. Light blue walls paired with sunflower gold window coverings and numerous touches of white result in an eye catching look for this chic kitchen.

Look closely and you'll see amazing color adding ideas in this room. A few we'd like to point out are grouping colorful books together on stark white bookshelves. Also, check out the interior of the white fireplace (blue) and the dark teal walls...a nice contrast that's so subtle you have to take a double take.

Colorful textiles, a bright area rug and golden window treatments are the key to obtaining this great look. Additional natural elements and black/white tables round it out!
