I'm so thrilled to share this before and after with you! This was such a fun, inexpensive and heart-warming project. I have a box filled to the rim with an amazing collection of my grandmother's (my Mom's Mom...aptly named "Mom-Mom") vintage fabrics. I've been saving them for years. That box has travelled from St. Thomas to San Francisco and now to Austin. Those fabrics have gotten their mileage, that's for sure.

I told CC Hubs recently that some enjoyable and creative fabric projects are long over-due. I'll be sharing another one that we did in the next couple days so stay tuned for that. But readers, don't worry if you don't have any G-ma vintage fabric on hand. Head to your nearest Mom & Pop fabric store or IKEA (we love their textile section) and pick out your favorite fabric and do this project too. You already know I love my turquoise so it should be no surprise to you that I went with a great blue and white print.

Here's a break-down of what you'll need and the total cost of this project:

- Framed picture (Goodwill): $3.99

- DURO All Purpose Spray Adhesive (Lowe's): $3.92

- Spray primer (Lowe's): $3.12

- Fabric: pre-owned

- Putty knife: pre-owned

- Scissors: pre-owned

- Packing tape: pre-owned

- Vicious guard dog: not for sale

Total for entire DIY framed fabric project = $11.03

So now that we have this amazing piece of art that's close to our heart hanging nicely at one of the first points of focus upon entering our home, I think it's time to be 'big kids' and get a console table and lamp to go underneath. What do you think? I've rounded up some great options below for you to scour through. Definitely let us know if you have a great console/entry table that you highly recommend.

Also, do you have a great DIY, Before and After or How-to that you'd love to share? Email me at casacullen@gmail.com and we might just feature it. If you happen to dive in and do this easy framed fabric wall art project too, you must let me know how it turns out on your end. Enjoy!
