We recently did a HUGE bathroom cabinet overhaul here at CasaCullen. Phew, those were a few long days but so worth the outcome. All of our bathrooms (our master, the upstairs guest and the downstairs half) got a fresh coat of white paint, drawer liners and new nickel hardware. The result, we do think, is clean and fresh! It's matches our light hued colored palette for sure. The previous wood was that same pinky hue (and dare I say ugly) that our kitchen cabinets were HERE. Yep, we love us some white painted cabinets and feel the entire home now has a better flow too.

So the process was pretty intense. Removing all the cabinet doors, removing all the hardware, labeling all the hardware, sanding down the doors, sanding down the cabinets, priming everything, painting everything, letting it all dry, adding Contact liner on everything, reattaching doors, adding new nickel hardware and  finally enjoying your new bathrooms. Voilà...it's as easy as that! Jokes aside, this is such a great way to preserve your cabinetry and be green and not buy new. You get the best of both worlds. And you know what else I immediately noticed...the floor tiles actually brighter, cleaner and more appealing now too. Don't they?

I've highlighted the process in a picture slideshow below. But maybe you're yearning the see the pictures up close? It's only a click away! Befriend us (via our sister fashion and beauty blog RunwayDaily) on Facebook HERE and a link is also found in the upper left hand corner of this blog too. I'll be sure to upload all the before/after pics on there for those of you that want a closer look.

Also, sweet readers, you know I can't leave you without a bit more inspiration. Now that our master bathroom is under way, I've decided to map out a few inspiration panels below for some ideas of what we're thinking of doing. We are in the market for new countertops/sinks, add a garden stool, new lighting, painting the walls (duh - just have to decide on color), mirror trim (or new mirrors), change out those mini blinds, add art and some more storage. Phew, tired yet? We obviously have a long road ahead of us. Hoping that maybe it'll inspire you to add a few of these pieces into your bathrooms or just get those ol' bathroom design gears crankin' too. Enjoy!
