This was a super fun and easy DIY! We've had these two table lamps for years. And for years, I haven't loved them. They aren't our colors anymore and the creamy gold shade just irked me every time I walked by it. I actually put them on Craigslist here in Austin and then I remembered what I paid for them and immediately took them off when I got a $50/both offer. Not cool, lady...not cool!

I got to thinking, there is nothing a can of spray paint can't do, right? So we put some white and tan spray paint to serious work on these goodies. Smiling from ear to ear...they are like brand new lamps with bright white pedestals that I love. We got the shades from IKEA and the spray paint from Home Depot. These are definitely now two of our fave places for a weekend jaunt. I would have never said that years ago!

I can see the lamps eventually being bright blue or a soft yellow hue when we finally have our guest room designs all figured out. But for now, they are our master bedroom bedside table lamps. Plans are in the works to finish off our headboard and sconce combo. But not to worry, I plan to share an in between photo in the next few days.

Also, I had one of these lamps on our entry table so guess what we need? A new table lamp for our entryway. I've picked out some fabulous choices for under $100 below. I'm eye-balling all the clear glass lamps and per my usual, I'm drawn to many of the blue hued ones too. Also, the white ones are standing out because I'm a sucker for some touches of white! Maybe you're in the market for a new table lamp? Hope this helps you out too! Enjoy!
